Welcome to Tervo, a live speech translation app operated by Premium Boxes ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Tervo mobile application ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. About Tervo

Tervo captures speech through your device's microphone, transcribes it using AI, and translates it into your selected language in real-time. Translation history is saved for your convenience.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Tervo.

3. Accounts

Creating an account is not required. You can use Tervo and purchase subscriptions without signing in. If you choose to sign in with Apple, your translation history will sync across your devices. You are responsible for all activity on your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payment

Tervo offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Free Tier: • Approximately 600 words, one time • Access to all translation languages • Translation history Pro Subscription: • Approximately 20,000 words per month • All features included in the Free Tier Payment is processed by Apple through In-App Purchase. By subscribing, you agree to the following: • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at the time of purchase. • Your subscription automatically renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. • You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID Account Settings. • Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their App Store policies.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: • Use Tervo for any unlawful purpose • Record or translate conversations without the consent of all parties, where required by law • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App • Use the App to harass, threaten, or harm others • Circumvent usage limits or share account credentials

6. Intellectual Property

Tervo and all related content, design, and features are the property of Premium Boxes. You retain ownership of the content you create through the App. By using Tervo, you grant us a limited license to process your audio and text solely for the purpose of providing the service.

7. Privacy

Your use of Tervo is subject to our Privacy Policy, available at https://tervo.live/privacy.

8. Third-Party Services

Tervo relies on third-party services to operate, including OpenAI (for transcription and translation) and Supabase (for data storage and authentication). Your use of Tervo is also subject to the terms and policies of these providers.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Tervo is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy of transcriptions or translations, the availability of the service, or its fitness for any particular purpose. Translation quality depends on factors such as audio clarity, background noise, and the limitations of AI technology.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Premium Boxes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data, profits, or business opportunities. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using Tervo or delete your account at any time through the App's Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ends immediately.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Tervo after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
